MOTION
The Motion Collection makes recognizable subjects seem oddly different than one would expect.
These images are not due to multiple exposures or the introduction of
special lighting, but rather, intentional camera movements during a longer than normal exposure period.
The fact that I am living with Parkinson’s Disease and practicing photography usually means that I need to use a slightly faster shutter speed to eliminate any chance that my tremors will spoil an image. I decided I would play to my strengths and emulate my sometimes-uncontrollable shaking to create another way of producing images that appear to be “not of this world.” I found the results quite interesting, I hope you will too!
